GNU/DDD can display the data structures such as Link or Tree visibly. In my opinion,this will bring more convenience to programmers. So could VS's Debugger do this to display the data structures' relations?
Additionally, I'll say VS's Debugger has done very well in debugging the STL,this is wonderful!
I'm willing to see the feature which I mention above in the VS2005 or some later products.
I think the feature you are talking about is already present and its known as a 'Debugger Visualizer' in VS2005 terminology. Please read through the following article:
