Geocding a lot of addreses

Hello
I understand how to geocode using a URL (and multimap returns an "XML page" with the relevent information).
However, I have quite a large number of addresses that I want to geocode and I don't want to manually copy the URL to the browser, hit send and then copy/paste the result.
Is there a way of automating this so that I can provide a list of addresses and get back a file containg the XML for all the addresses I have supplied?
Thx
Doug

Terms of use for the Open API appear to prohibit that -
http://www.multimap.com/openapi/terms_of_use/
3 (xiv) "You may not use any automated process or service to access and/or use the service"
If you were planning to store the data, 3 (xii) looks prohibitive too - "You may not attempt to make a local non-cache copy... of any content ... "
If you are a B2B customer, check the terms for that.
There are commercial geocoding services: pass them a file, get a file back (for a fee).
There are other geocoding services that may not prohibit your intended use -
