The content of the HYPERLINK.bat file is as follows -

@"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\MSACCESS.EXE" c:\BCP\HYPERLINK.MDE /x m_PTA2

My Network & Security team created a special task account to run this job.

The scheduled task runs successfully if the user logged in is same as the scheduled task "run as" parameters. That is - if I logon to the system with the task account and the scheduled task is configured with the task account - the task runs successfully.

If another user logs on to the PC at the scheduled time when the task which is confgured with task account credentials, it does not run. I can see the status set to "Running". However it does work.

Can you please suggest a way out so that irrespective of which user is logged in, the scheduled task that is configured using the task account in the "Run as" parameter to run successfully?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Look forward to hear from you.
Mon, 02 Nov 2009 15:52:12 Z2009-11-02T15:52:15Zhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msdnsandbox/thread/7a1d9fc6-7db0-434e-9d0b-dc758bf6f575http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msdnsandbox/thread/7a1d9fc6-7db0-434e-9d0b-dc758bf6f575Michael Sagalovichhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Michael%20Sagalovichrhdhjdjdghcdm
Software Developer at Coherent SolutionsFri, 30 Oct 2009 11:51:23 Z2009-10-30T11:51:27Zhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msdnsandbox/thread/fc7c114f-9528-453f-a01e-42097d08a58bhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msdnsandbox/thread/fc7c114f-9528-453f-a01e-42097d08a58bv-jewen-MSFThttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=v-jewen-MSFTTesttestMon, 26 Oct 2009 04:25:04 Z2009-10-29T06:15:12Zhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msdnsandbox/thread/38d58abc-93b6-4670-8f99-79b02df7f052http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/msdnsandbox/thread/38d58abc-93b6-4670-8f99-79b02df7f052Simple Sampleshttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Simple%20SamplesMy Deployment Combined List

Visual Studio: Deploying Applications and Components

.NET Framework Developer's Guide: Deploying .NET Framework Applications

Visual C++: Deployment (C++)

Visual C++ Team Blog: How to redistribute the Visual C++ Libraries with your application

SDK: Windows Installer

Ooops, that is for C++; for C#:

Visual Studio: Deploying Applications and Components

.NET Framework Developer's Guide: Deploying .NET Framework Applications

Visual C#: Deploying C# Applications

SDK: Windows Installer

Okay, now I am good.
