How can I create software (Files on a CD) to expire after a trial period expires

Question

Trial versions of software allow a certain time period before the trial period expires. I would like to have CDs that we produce expire after a certain date or after a certain amount of time after the CD files have been accessed, say 30 days. Is there code that we can access to cause this to occur?
