Question(Possible) Bug - RSS Reader

    Hi all,

I've recently noticed a problem with my RSS Feeds, and I think it might be a bug somewhere...

Basically, outlook keeps downloading the same entry (the last one) from the feed, even though it's already listed.
Is there anywhere I can upload a screenshot for free so as to elaborate?

My apologies, I didn't pay attention to where I posted this... Can a moderator please move it?

    Hi Logan!

You probably want to try and ask this question in the Outlook newsgroups:
    http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.outlook.general&lang=en&cr=US

Is it just my feed that's giving you a problem or is it happening to other blogs.msdn.com feeds too?

    Hi Beth,

It's just your feed. More specifically it's just 2 entries:

    Happy Halloween 2009!!!, and
Inserting Master-Detail Data into a SQL-Server Compact Edition Database

There's no other entries that are doing this, and it's the first time since Office 2007 came out that I've seen this, so I don't think it's likely that it's a bug, but I thought it might be worth mentioning anyway.

P.S. Your Halloween costumes - Really awesome, it's obvious you love the holiday :-)

hmmm.... I imported this yesterday int Outlook 2007 and I'm not seeing an issue with the feed (yet). Have you tried asking in the newsgroups?

I'm moving this thread out of the VS2010 Beta forum and into the VSTO forum for current releases. There are more people there working with the current versions and maybe someone else has experienced this issue before....

After Google, MSDN is my first stop when trying to fix an issue, so I haven't tried any newsgroups yet.

I normally just look around the forums or the Library and tutorial pages, so I'm not as familiar with MSDN as a whole as I probably should be by now... I'll look around for the newsgroups, but can you post a link anyway?

We can close this thread, I fixed it.

I don't know what happened or why, but I deleted the rss feed from Outlook and added it again, and now it's working fine again.

It turns out I haven't fixed it. I currently have 42 unread items on the feed from Beth Massi's blog:

Interop Between VBA and Visual Studio Office Solutions(VSTO)
Building Occasionally Connected Smart Clients With WPF
    Halloween Pictures
Silicon Valley Code Camp Oct. 3-4 : Schedule is up!
Merging Text & Photos into a Word Document using Open XML SDK
Mail Merging Into a Single Word Document Using XML Literals

All of these have been repeated around 6 times, I'd like to upload/email a screenshot, but I'm at a loss on how to do that...
Short of deleting the feed, I don't know what to do about this, is there a service pack or something I can try?

Moving this to off topic, as this is not MSDN-related.

    Thanks,
