AnswerFocusApp and Hopper

Hi, I'm testing my app with hopper and I've run into a problem. It has to do with the time interval of the FocusApp. When I set it to 1 second Hopper gives me the "Start Menu Dead" error after a while, but if I set the time interval to 2 seconds or more, hopper will run for hours with no problem.
So, it seems that when I set the interval to 1 second, hopper is not having enough time to acknoledge that the start menu is open although the start menu itself appears on screen.
My question is, is this a normal and expected behavior? What time interval is used to certificate the apps submited to the marketplace?

    Thank you,
    Pedro Mendes

    Hi Mendes,

The interval should be kept at the default of 10 seconds. This allows Hopper to do its own health check. That is, periodically invoke the Start menu to insure that the OS is not locked up. By changing this to one second – this does not allow this health check to happen and Hooper falsely reports ‘Start Menu dead’.

The Marketplace testing team keeps this at the default of 10 seconds for certification testing.

    Thanks,

    Mike

Thanks for your answer, but the link you provided doesn't answer my particular question... there's still no clue about the time interval of the FocusApp. By default it's set to 10 seconds, so should I consider this to be the interval that's being used to certificate the apps?
