• Problems sending email to mtcont@microsoft.com and mtlic@microsoft.com?

  Update (9/22): All fixed now. mtcont@microsoft.com and mtlic@microsoft.com are both working fine.

   

  We are seeing some reported issues about not being able to send email to mtcont@microsoft.com and mtlic@microsoft.com. We are working to fix this - we ask for your patience as we resolve this issue. Please re-send your inquiries after we post the resolution here (it shouldn't take more than 12 hours).

   

• Known Issues and possible workarounds affecting the widget & APIs (Please check here first before asking in the forums)

  Here is a constantly updated list of known issues (and any possible workarounds) that we are working to fix in future releases.  Please keep checking here for the latest list. 

  
  

  1. Changing target language after translation without refreshing may leave some paragraphs un-translated (Widget)
  2. Smaller size paragraphs may appear un-translated if they contains some sequence of nested tags (Widget & AJAX API)
  3. The translation toolbar does not display what Detect method is returning. For example if we call Microsoft.Translator.translate without specifying the source language code, the API still returns correctly because our Language Auto-Detect code kicks in - but the translation toolbar does not display the language detected. It simply displays ‘Undefined’. (AJAX API)
  4. If the size of a paragraph in a page approaches 2000 characters, then it will not be translated. (Widget & AJAX API)
