Extensibility for HTML Client: Can I create html control for specified data type?

Question

For example, I have a RichText data type in my extension, I want the RichText field always default to use Rich Text Editor/Viewer control. But I don't know how to create extension control for html client, is it possible in preview2 or are you considering to add it in RTM?

Extension controls are not supported in preview 2, but they are certainly on our radar.
