Button/Link position nearby the textbox

hello,
I want to have a button/link nearby a textbox but it is always displayed in the next row (see picture)
in the button/link execute event I open a moal window picker with Me.OpenModalWindow

Friday, May 11, 2012 12:43 PMTry adding a Column Layout item where your Text Box is. Then add the Text Box and the Button/Link under that layout.

it is always in the next line also if I use a Column Layout - what I'm doing wrong?

You need a columns layout containing your text box and a rows layout. You put your button in the rows layout.

@Simon Jones is right but he's missing one thing.
Create a layout like this:
Then run your application and go to the Design Screen. Click on the Rows Layout and under Sizing set Horizontal Alignment to Left and Vertical Alignment to Top.
You will also have to play with the sizing and alignment of your text box.

Glad you got it but your message that "you've got it" isn't really the answer.

You have marked your own post "Now I have it" as being the answer, which it isn't.
