Can maximum range be increased

Question

Is there any way to increase the distance between the sensor and the subject to more than 13 feet?  I will be using the Kinect Sensor to enhance dancers on a stage, and the 13 foot maximum range is a bit too short.  Or is it physically impossible to increase the range to 20 or even 30 feet and still receive usable data?

you cannot do that at this time, but it is something we are looking at for a future release.
