This is holding up sales, very important.

Excel 2007 SP2, XP SP3.  All up to date.

I have "Disable All Macros With Notification" set, and "Trust  access to the VBA project object model" is checked.  Yet, when I open a spreadsheet with macros, the notification box does not appear and macros are disabled.  I can allow all macros (not recommended) and that works.  Why won't the notification feature work?

    Hi,

To confirm, in xl2007 when the VBE is closed you do not get a dialog box. A Security warning bar appears below the formula bar with a button labels Options. Do you not get this when opening .xlsm or xls files with macros in?

Actually, yes, it did show.  Very embarrassing!  You'd think I would have noticed that yesterday, wouldn't I?  Oh well!

    Thanks!
