Tuesday, June 17, 2008 6:28 PMHi,
I work for an ISV who are currently trying to achieve Gold Partner status. In order to do this, looking at gaining an MCP certification. However, the information on the Microsoft web site seems to indicate that the only way I can do this is by taking exams for older technology, which seems a bit strange to me. As far as I can tell, the recent exams (MCTS etc) do not give you the "MCP" status; only the older MCAD etc do. Can anyone tell me if this is correct?

The MCTS certifications are a subset of the MCPs and qualify as such.
Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
