IE 8 under Windows 7 does not recognize .blur elements like self.blur.

Question

This is a simple demo to show the problem: http://www.roadandstyle.com/SelfBlur/index.html  In the demo it shows that IE 8 ignores the self.blur element completely.  The same issue existed with IE 8 running under Vista until very recently.

Hi stcrim,

No problems here. Compare your popup and tabbed browsing settings between the two systems. I assume that both are x86 versions of Vista and 7?

The problen still exists in IE 8 Running under Windows7.  Very recently MS updated Vista which corrected the issue there.
