i built a website to serve as a GUI for my colleagues at work, where they can easily find the documents they need, i don’t have a search tool in this site so i was wondering if i could use windows search to serve as a search tool for the site and display the results as a webpage?

Depends on your windows version..... and where you have placed your personal website.... Normally one would use a database lookup to find documents/downloads that are available from a public website.
