IIS7 File download set storing directory in Word document automatically

Question

Through a intranet web plattform I download word documents and they are editable in word directly (IE file extension, registered apps).

How I can set the default path to the download server path to store the file back (intranet)?

Is there a way with a VBA macro automatically downloaded and runed if the main word document is downloading?

Any sugestions welcome!

Telerik RADEditor for asp.net has built in Word Document Editing and server side saving.

Normally business clients would use a product like sharepoint to share documents over a http connection.
