My Cookie Information page (Windows Vista Business) is not displaying the ASP.NET_SessionId cookie for some reason. It shows other cookies. Firefox Web Developer Add-on is displaying the ASP.NET_SessionId cookie. Mike
Can someone at least check this out to see if they are seeing the same thing? Connect your IE8 to an ASP .Net page that uses Session and then look at the Cookie Information page to see if you can see the ASP .Net cookie.
I saw on one of your other forum posts that you were getting a 'Could not get the cookie information' error message when using the Developer Tools/View Cookie Information. Any luck with this?
I'm developing a couple of asp.net sites, which the View Cookie Info all worked on, until the other day, when something magical happened and now I can't. Very frustrating.
I turned on Automatic Updates a few days ago and now I am able to get to the Cookie Information page. I would try that - download updates for Windows and IE until it works.
Once it's working again I would appreciate it if you could check to see if you can see the "ASP.NET_SessionId" cookie and post the results here. I had a friend try it and he couldn't see it either. I'm wondering if this is some weird intentional plot by Microsoft.Mike
