    When I try to instal IE 8 I get the message "error configuring updates" and the computer reverses changes. I have a Dell XPS 1330 notebook with windows vista ultimate. Does anybody knows anything about this issue?

    Hi there,

    Do you have a pre-release version of IE8 installed?  If so, you may need to uninstalled that using Control Panel (view available updates) before you can sucessfully install the final version.
