Has anybody been able to create an addon that replicates the image toolbar addon that came with IE6?Could someone please create a "copy" of the image toolbar that is compatible for IE8 onwards? The reason I ask is that I have stupidly stayed with IE6 because it has the image toolbar and I use it quite a lot but I would like to upgrade to IE8 but it doesn't have the image toolbar which kinda sucks! :(

    thanks.

The exact same options available on the Image Toolbar are available on the context menu.  Just right-click the image.

I know that but quite a few sites have the java no right click script which prevents me from doing that and then I have to go into the temp internet file folder to find the file which will take longer. :(

You can drag and drop images to the desktop.  The image toolbar can be disabled by sites in much the same way they "disable" the context menu.

I have never had the problem with sites disabling the image toolbar.Never.Only thing is that the image toolbar won't appear on pics smaller than a certain size but you can change that with the MS powertoys tweakui app.I think I did try the drag and drop method ages ago but I can't remember if it worked or not. Thats why I am looking for an image toolbar like the one that comes with IE6 for IE8.

I just don't know what to do atm as I want to ugrade to IE8 but I loose a helpful tool as the drag and drop method doesn't work properly for me.  :(

I finally gave up and I re-installed IE8 but when I was online and I went to add a topic to my bookmarks I rediscovered one of the major reasons why I un-installed IE8 in the first place.Instead of getting access to the usual tree like view mode to easy scoll down to the folder\sub folder I wanted to add the bookmark to instead I got a long vertical list of all the 90+ folders\sub folders I have in the favorites folder which took me a while to find the right folder. :( Is there a fix to get the tree like view mode like in IE6 as if not then I will un-install IE8 ASAP as I can't waste my time like that and I don't have the willpower to go through that each time I would like to add a bookmark to... :( :( :( :(
