We have published virtual machine showcasing the integration between Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Project Server. There are a set of walkthroughs published along with the VM that you can use as a self-paced lab to understand how the integration work.

In TFS 2012 the Project Server Integration is part of the product. It is not a feature pack anymore!
Want to upgrade your TFS 2010 server to TFS 2012 and have the Project Server Integration set up? Somebody did it already and he documented the steps for you: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/chrisfie/archive/2012/08/08/team-foundation-server-2012-and-project-server-2010-integration.aspx
