Okay i got customers that want to keep track of their bowel movement! I added that to my android app but now i want to upload that measurement to HealthVault. However "bowel movement" or something similar is not defined as a thing type in HealthVault. So which data type should i use?
Is there a way to add a measurement that is not defined by a thing type?

Hi Peter,
I would recommend that you use a custom data type - http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ericgu/archive/2007/10/29/healthvault-data-types-a-custom-data-type-architecture.aspx.
Thank you.

Hi Peter,
I am not aware of any java examples, however that would be a better question to ask on the discussion list for the Java open source SDK, http://healthvaultjavalib.codeplex.com/discussions.
Thank you.
