Answered Does the HealthVault Connection Center create previews for DICOM?

    In my case, I have used the Connection Center tool to upload MRI images.  The study and each of the series have preview images, but the individual images do not have previews.  I am trying to figure out if the tool simply does not convert the individual DICOMs for preview or what.  Is there anyone in the HV team who can explain what happens during the upload process?

    Hi Josh,
     
    HealthVault Connection Center does not create previews for every image. It uses a sampling technique to create the previews.

    OK.  I figured this was the case but I needed to be sure it wasn't just my sample MRI.  So, to be clear, anytime I upload a Medical Image Study, I can expect to get a preview image for the study and each of the series, but not for any of the images themselves.  Is this correct?
