Domain Users in terminal services cannot open SQL database

    Question

  • My domain users have access to SQL server when they are not inside terminal services (just using the SQL server name and database) but if they connect to the server in terminal services they do not have access.

Anyone tell me what I need to do in order for my Domain Users to have access to the SQL server while in TS?  I can only run this program in TS if I choose "Run as Admin" which I can't do for everyone.

This program uses a global SQL user named "OM_USER" to connect to SQL server so I do not have any idea what is holding this back.  OM_USER has access to the SQL server by default so why would it matter if a user was logged into TS or not?

    Thanks

  • Hi eyedevelop,

We can refer to the steps on the following document to run SQL Server Management Studio in Terminal Services environment.
