reverse proxy and SSRS

    Question

  • Working in an environment with a Apache reverse proxy and SSRS.  The goal is to have have the reverse proxy in the DMZ as the front end and isolated the standalone SSRS 2014 and SQL 2014 to a private network.  However I'm have issue with some of the report web pages referencing internal ip of the SSRS server. The web broswer would time out with a 502 due to not being able to connect the the private network.  I have try the following SSRS setting in the RSReportServer.config file but is not haveing any luck.

    1. define the Hostname and UrlRoot

    as per http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc281307(v=sql.105).aspx#SpecifyingVirtualServerName

    2. define the ReportServerUrland ReportServerExternalUrl

    as per http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb630431(v=sql.105).aspx

Should the following setting resolve the issue or am I missing something ?
