OLAP error on Analysis services

    Question

  • Cube Error while processing OLAP db

The following error message occurred when trying to copy the DEV Application Set, called “X_DevCopy_20130905”:

MODIFY_FILE failed. File ‘X_DevCopy_2013090’ does not exist.  MODIFY_FILE failed. ‘X_DevCopy_20130905_Lo’ does not exist.

SAP Note 1555469 recommended restarting the SQL server followed by a restarting of the app server.

I also received the following error message when attempting to do a full optimization of the Finance application within the “X_DevCopy_20130905” appset:

Errors in the OLAP storage engine: The attribute key cannot be found when processing: Table: 'dbo_tblFactFinance', Column: 'ACCOUNT', Value: 'ASSET_CLASS.PL_ACCOU'. The attribute is 'Account_ID1'.

Errors in the OLAP storage engine: The process operation ended because the number of errors encountered during processing reached the defined limit of allowable errors for the operation.

Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while processing the 'FAC2Finance_INCR_UPDATE_TEMP_vro6d_' partition of the 'Finance' measure group for the 'Finance' cube from the X_DevCopy_20130905 database.

Errors in the OLAP storage engine: The process operation ended because the number of errors encountered during processing reached the defined limit of allowable errors for the operation.

Internal error: The operation terminated unsuccessfully.

Server: The operation has been cancelled.

    Any thoughts EXPERTS!!!

    Thanks,

    Joe

This error occurs when olop does not find value in fact table within the dimension table. so it means there is a row which has 'ASSET_CLASS.PL_ACCOU' value in the account column.but does not exists definition in the dimension table Which should DimAcccout or whatever.
