  • The exception code "c0000005" indicates that a memory access violation occurred; ntdll.dll is one the main DLL files of the operating system.
    What were you doing when Explorer crashed?

    The error occurs when I am browsing files, e.g. my documents, my music etc.

    The error first started occurring when I reinstalled Java due to another (I thought unrelated) error I've been having.

    I ran a system scan (scf/scannow) and it found an error:
