http error 503, every few minutes

    Question

  • Hi,

I have a Standard DotNetNuke website (with 3 portals) running on a small azure server. Till 2 days ago, everything ran fine. I added some DNN pages and galleries and still fine. Today, the website responds most of the time with 'http error 503 the service is unavailable'.

Anybody an idea? Main website is http://www.cobrasoft.be

    Greetings,

    Sigurd

  • Hi Sigurd,

A temporary overloading or maintenance of the server would cause 503 error, it seems update happening a few days ago from David in this thread.

Did you try restart the websites and is it working now? If the issue occurs daily, the issue may not related to the upgrade, more detail information about the issue would be helpful to troubleshoot the issue, please try enable diagnostics for the web site at Configure management page.

  • I would grab events.xml from your LogFiles folder and see if there's an unhandled exception that is causing the process to crash.
