Monday, August 06, 2012 5:08 AMhi,
I have downloaded the trial version of Windows Embedded Standard 2009 but its not able to boot from disc.
downloaded link: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14947
When i tried to check the CD contents, there is an installation file (setup.exe). I have executed this file and it installed only Windows Embedded Studio. I would like to install the full Embedded operating system. please let me know the link to download the trial version of Windows Embedded Standard 2009.
Thanks...- Moved by Terry WarwickMicrosoft Employee Tuesday, August 07, 2012 2:28 PM Wrong Forum (From:Windows Embedded POSReady)

1. This forum is for POSReady - WES2009 has several forums - http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/embeddedwindowstools/threads
2. WES2009 is not like XP Pro where you install from CD. The installation is for installing tools and a database, where you build a custom operating system from components. Here is a video and some books that explain further:

I have created the image by using the Target designer. How to deploy the image into the new Hard drive?
Thanks,
Ashok
