The New installed component can be find in Component Database Manager, but can not be selected in Target Designer , although its Visibility has been set to 100.

Hi all,

I have installed the French MUI Language Pack to my XPE development computer without any errors, and all French MUI related components, repositories and other groups has been imported into the database successfully. And all of them can be found in the Component Database Manager. But they can not been selected in the Target Designer , although I have set the Component Visibility to the minimum value 100.

Does anybody know why the new installed component which has been existed in the Component Database Manager can not be found in the Target Designer?

I found that there are two types of language pack for each language, which are Service Pack 1 Language Packs and Service Pack 2 Language Packs. And both of them contains the MUI Resource component. For example as French langugae pack, the MUI Resource componet name is "French MUI Resouce" in SP1 and is "French (France) MUI Resource" in SP2.  If both of them are installed , the only MUI Resource from SP2 can be selected in Target Designer, although they all exist in Component Database Manager.  I still don't know why, but I know I can select the "French (France) MUI Resource" instead of "French MUI Resource".
