Unanswered Xpe WES-2009 / Interl HD Graphics Driver

In the process of creating an XPe image running on an embedded PC.  Initially the hardware was brought up with XP Pro, installed drivers for various peripherals (e.g. PCI UART, Intel HD graphics, etc) , ran TAP, and can now run a version of XPe. As I start to install the drivers under XPe, I am having a problem with the Intel HD graphics - which worked fine under XP Pro. The driver seems to install fine (also had to install .NET framework) , but when it restarts after the installation, the Windows splash screen flashes a couple of times then no video - not sure if it crashed, hard to tell with no video.

Trying to debug - booted with safe mode, unistalled the driver, then able to reboot normally and have video. Seems like a conflict with an installed component and the driver??? Any debug suggestions?

The only video related components in the XPe image are (1) Video codecs (2) Video Upgrade Device and (3) Video for Windows Core

If this is a dual video port system, the video might be going out a different port. What is the processor that you are using?

Do you have a monitor on both ports? Does the BIOS setup allow you to specify the primary adapter or output?

Thanks...Found the problem. I need to disable the local flat panel display in the BIOS before installing the Intel graphics driver.
