MCDBA certification

    Question

  • Hi there folks!

I am having a challenge with the MCDBA certification; i've only written the 70-290 exam and have about three (3) exams left: 70-228, 20-229 and 70-293. Now the 70-228 and 70-229 exams are retired. How do i proceed?

I will appreciate it if i can get direction on how to proceed. Thanks in anticipation of your prompt response.

  • Hi,

The retired exams 70-228 and 70-229 where not replaced, so you no longer can obtain MCDBA

The MCDBA certification itself however is replaced by:

    MCITP Database administrator SQL 2005
    exams: 70-431, 70-443, 70-444

or MCITP Database administrator SQL 2008
    exams 70-432, 70-450
