I am learning programming in Visual C++ (Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate RC). I am thinking that when I have finished learning it, I will make a software and sell it to make money for a development workspace. Is it legal to sell software created with this? Please, if it is not, could you tell me about any other IDE that allows selling software made with it (i.e. Code::Blocks).
P.S. This was the most likely forum to post this to, so sorry if this is in the wrong one!Monday, July 16, 2012 12:17 PM
"Go Live with Visual Studio 2012 RC and .NET Framework 4.5 RC
Visual Studio 2012 RC and .NET Framework 4.5 RC meet our high standards for pre-release software, so we support application design, development, test, and deployment in test and production environments. Before putting an application into production, you must review and comply with the INSTALLATION, USE RIGHTS AND RESTRICTIONS section of the Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Product Family Release Candidate Software licensing agreement. This section describes your rights for internal and external production use. "
Look at the contents of the install ISO. You'll find the product EULA in license.htm in the root directory of the ISO.
In case you don't have access to the ISO, here's a link to get the EULA:Monday, July 16, 2012 12:37 PM
