  • Does anyone have a solution for x64 Vista?  I ran through the suggestions and it appears to install as there is a service now running, however, the adam_adsi-edit.msc is unable to connect to the install.  As well, when you go to start>program files, the installation does not show up.  If I go directly to c:\windows\adam and launch the MMC, I get the MMC and an error in the main window saying  "MMC could not create the snap in."  Any thoughts here?

  • I dont think you find your answer in this forum.  This is more dedicated towards application development and architecture.  You may find more response under technet forums dedicated for vista.

  • Microsoft tells me they haven't decided to support ADAM (now called AD/LDS) on Vista.  They say use XP (really) or Windows 2003 R2 or Windows 2008.  Anyone have a Vista replacement for ADAM?
