Based on forum feedback, there is a desire for more Windows Phone developer tools for Silverlight/XNA hybrid apps. We’re excited to say that our
new release will address that issue.
Documentation for the new AdComponent class for hybrid apps
can be foundhere
and a useful walkthroughcan be found
here, if you need more information
please reply to this thread or send an email to email@example.com.
In addition, we recently released an updated version of the Microsoft Advertising (MSA) SDK for Windows Phone. We strongly recommend you
download the latest SDK
(version 6.1.320) and update your application,
especially if you have a Hybrid or XNA application.
To Avoid Issues:
BEFORE INSTALLING, please UNINSTALL previous version of the Microsoft Advertising SDK for Windows Phone. Then, INSTALL the latest version.
Thanks for using the Microsoft Advertising solution in your Windows Phone apps and if you’re writing apps for Windows 8 (which I hope you all are) be sure to
check out this post about the Microsoft
Advertising SDK for Windows 8.
It should be noted that this 6.1.320.0 Ad SDK download is newer than the 6.1.317.0 Ad SDK that is included in the Windows Phone SDK 7.1.1 that was released within the past month. It would be helpful if Microsoft started providing a "change log" for all
new releases of the Ad SDK.
