Microsoft Synchronization Framework 2.1 for mobile apps

    Question

  • I just came across the Microsoft Synchronization Framework (2.1) which seems to have been around for a few years already.

The idea seems great and I would like to build a web service to support synchronization from mobile apps.  Is there any kind of implementation of the sync framework for iOS, Android, or WinPhone 8 that could be used with a backend web service that supports the sync framework?

  • there is no Sync Framework for iOs, Android or WP8 or client's that supports the full Sync Framework SDK.

you can have a look at the Sync Framework Toolkit though which allows you to build your client side sync components to talk to a server side service that's using Sync Framework.
