Any suggestions? I think I have everything setup correctly (running under adminstrator, prereqs installed). Thanks!

I have successfully done this in Win 7 before. Thanks for the log, it looks like error code 0x800F0805. Here is a similar thread: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/eu/dublin/thread/da19f371-29af-4dc1-970d-b09b3069b1fb. Did you recently upgrade the OS?
Thanks,

I figured it out: Here's what I had to do:
1. comment out all of the references to workflow in machine.config
2. delete the AppFabric folder and all contents in Windows/System32/AppFabric
3. edited the registry removing all references to AppFabric located in the C: drive
4. deleted all the following keys in the registry that referenced dlls related to AppFabric

{F39C1C55-0FDA-4607-8C33-6D9E2A317762}5. Removed the local AS_Administrators group or the AS_Observers group on the computer.
6. I removed all the references to the AppFabric and workflow in the web.config in C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Config
Reboot the Windows 7 computer and reinstalled.
