Why can't I install AppFabric?

Why can't I install AppFabric (RC2)? For as far as I know, I downloaded the right version..

(Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I find the MSDN-fora very hard to navigate..)

This is the right place to ask questions about Windows Server AppFabric!

You need to install Service Pack 2 on Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista before Windows Server AppFabric will install. You can get SP2 from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968849.

Just to confirm, the latest release of Windows Server AppFabric is our Beta 2 build, which works on Visual Studio 2010/.NET 4 RC. Download our bits from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=a1ed6018-ddd1-4bd8-b4af-6561e910ebb4 .

The machine has pre release version of Windows Server 2008 Enterprise. AppFabric installation requires RTM (build 6.0.6001.7600).
