Debugger Canvas and VS11 Beta

Question

Hi

I really enjoy the debugging experience offered by this extension, but unfortunately it will not install / run within VS11 ( which I also enjoy... and have a sweet supervisor who applauds me playing around some of the time ;)

Have you got any idea when a version compatible with VS11 will be available?  Or have I got to wait for RTM and then some, anyhows thank you in advance

Hi Kevin,

It's great to hear that you're enjoying Debugger Canvas.

Unfortunately we're not compatible with Dev11, as you've observed. We are still working out what the future of this concept in VS, so unfortunately I don't have any news I can share on that.

In the meantime please keep the feedback coming. Any input, positive or negative helps a lot!

Yeah I'm having major Debugger Canvas withdrawal using VS 11 Beta.  I really hope you guys at least get this running on VS 11 and hopefully get it integrated into some future version of Visual Studio.

Completely agree, and the rise of async and TPL in .NET 4.5 specifically, makes it a highly sought after addition to VS2012.
