COM COmponent Failure trying to install Debugger Canvas

Question

pretty much what the title says, I just installed VS2010 Ultimate, then VS2010 SP 1.

Downloaded the debugger canvas vsix and double click on it and get "Error HRESULT_ E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component"

 

Sounds like I'm missing something

Hi Joe,

Thanks for reporting the problem! This is new to us, so it would be great if we could get to the bottom of what is the cause. Did you do a complete install of VS? We require that you at least have C# and or VB.Net installed. What operating system are you running? Is English the language for Windows and VS?
