Answered Cannot install Data Explorer x64 for Office 2013 64 bit

    Hi,

    Does anybody ran into a problem of installing Data Explorer x64 for Office 2013?

    When I start the installation, I receive the following error message:

    "Another installation is in progress. You must complete that installation before continuing this one."

    Anbody has an idea, how to fix this?

    Hi Tamas,

    Could you try rebooting your machine and installing again? Please let us know if after this you are still hitting any issues.

    Hi Miguel,

    Thanks for the recommendation. Rebooting did not resolve the problem. However in the meantime it lead to a solution. I have found out the source of the problem. A stalling Java Update process was in the background which was restarting after reboot as well. Killing it has resolved the problem.

    So the issue was not with the Data Explorer. Now I have successfully installed it, and it is running fine!
