Is it possible to open Firefox on a certain page with VBS?

    Question

  • I found this code on google:

    sub shell(cmd)
    dim objShell
    Set objShell = WScript.CreateObject( "WScript.Shell" )
    objShell.Run(cmd)
    Set objShell = Nothing
    end sub

    shell """C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"""

I made a bot in Lua, and I wanted it to auto open firefox on a certain page whenever _ happens, and Lua can't do it. Is it possible with VBS?

    Thanks

  • I dunno. This is not a VBS forum.

  • Hey there HHRoblox
You're on the right path.  Why not try this
    dim wshshell

    Set wshshell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")

    wshshell.run """C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"" http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/ITCG/threads",1,False

    Set wshshell = Nothing
    wscript.quit

    Naturally change the URL
