CRM 2011 reassign user saved views

Question

I'm looking for any way, even unsupported to re assign some saved views to another user

I have tried changing the ownerid in userquery, but the user still gets an error stating they don't have permissions.

the AD record no longer exists of the old user that originally shared the view and that is not an option.

The supported way would be to write a .Net application (say, a console app), that impersonates the old user (by setting CallerId) and issues an Assign to assign the saved queries to an alternate user. This application would need to be run by an account that has permission to impersonate other users, and the old user would need rights to assign user queries to another user
