I must disable the following activities: Fax, Service Management

Hi there,
Is there a way to disable these activities from being selected by the user?
What I find strange is that under the settings for "Service" and "Service Management" in the respective Security Role I am testing, there is no settings for Create. Nonetheless, the users can click on the ribbon button "Service Management" under activities to create a service management record.
Any ideas?

Hi,
they are all "activities". As far as I know, you can only apply security role on the "activity" level ("core records"), but there is no way to do it for a particular type of activity.

Bugger :(
I reckon that the least I could do, since we don't want users creating such records, is to make a form with hidden required fields and a message that says that such functionality is not support in this implementation of CRM.
What do you reckon?

You might also create a plugin that would raise an error in the "Create".. that would be less UI-friendly, but absolutely robust:) Or you might combine both.
