Hello everybody,
I'm wondering how Lync Web App will work with Audio and Video.
According to this blog it will be ActiveX which will be use.
According to this one, it will be a "browser plug-in" which will be use.Can someone tells me:
- Is it with a plugin or just HTML5 to make Audio/Video calls?
- If it's with a plugin, which one?
- Is it cross-browser? cross-platform?
Best regards,
Mafyou.

Basically it's the VDI plugin, used to redirect the media stream:

Thanks :-)
Hum... It's seems that this plugin, is for Windows plateform only, do you confirm?
Also, once the plugin is installed, is it throught the client browser?
Is really not well documented ^^
Best regards,
Mafyou.

it isn't, you are right. but it's still preliminary, you know ;)
the plugin installation is through web browser for LWA. it's a user side plugin, no admin intervention required.
it's for mac too, it's supported on safari.
i think you'll be able to have more details in a while.
cheers :)
