John Austin, one of the presenters, asked that I post this message from him:

“For those of you who attended the client developer roundtable of the 24th on new features of the Lync client 2013 SDK, you saw the app sharing demo I tried to show you tip over and crash. I was going to show you the content sharing demo too, but it started crashing minutes before the roundtable started.   I apologize for these problems.

I had both of our client SDKS (2010 and 2013) installed on my rig. At some point immediately before the meeting, the Microsoft.Office.UC.dll was corrupted and I personally suspect my side-by-side installation of the SDKs.

There was a question asked in the roundtable about side-by-side installation.  The client team is reviewing the supportability of side-by-side installation. When testing is complete, we will update RTM SDK documentation to clearly state whether side-by-side installation of the SDK versions is supported.”
