We were recently approached by Scott Hanselman
to help with his Lync Auto-Answer Kiosk project. He had created
a version that didn't use UI Suppression, but wanted one that did.
We built Scott a wrapper containing a WPF control, which abstracts some of the complexity of handling video calls in UI Suppression Mode, which we've
released as a GitHub project.
We also created a UI-Suppressed version of the Kiosk - which you can download from
LyncAutoAnswer.com for
free, with source code.
There's a full write up of the project, including who we are and why we did it
on the ModalityDev site.

Like I said, the whole stuff is on GitHub - so feel free to take it, fork it, change it for your needs etc. We're going to be putting on the wall with a touch-screen monitor so we can have a "window" into our other offices!
