Authentication in CommerceServer 2009

Question

Can someone point me to the documentation on the authentication of Commerce Server 2009? I wan to know more details regarding the sharepoint and commerce server. I want to use the membership provider from commerce server 2009 for a difference ASP.NET application.

Please point me to tips and tricks for integrating CS membersip provider with other application.
