Commerce Server Packager Failed to Restore the Commerce Server site

Question

"Commerce Server Site Packager encountered an error.
The (Un)Packaging operation (command 104d8ba1-f861-453f-9b41-3d99705eb003 has failed with the following error message:  'Commerce Serve Site Packager failed to restore Commerce Site'
An error has occurred during the Commerce Server data unpackage process.  To review tie log file see:  c:\Pup.log."

Hi Siva,

Can you explain the context you received this error? Is it an OOB install, or a custom PUP, migration of the site etc.?

Hi Lewis,

Actually we are installing Commerce server 2009 Setup.
We first Installed all the prerequesties..like..

Sharepoint services 3.0
Sql Server 2005 sp2
commerce server 2007
and finally commerce server 2009

and the Installation went fine..during the configuration of sharepoint commerce services configuration wizard..it throwed the following error...

" Commerce Server site Packager Encountered an Error.
