-
Friday, August 03, 2012 3:25 PMWhen i load Sony Vegas Pro 9,there's an error pop up,and it said'Failed to initialize the common language runtime engine. Please install the .NET Framework (download is available from Windows Update).'I did install all the version, but in v2.0.50727.3053,there's a different version of mscorwk, and the version is V2.0.50727.(3634),the bracket part is where i found wierd about the whole .NET Framework,i think just one fresh mscorwk for v2.0.50727.3053 will work, what should i do,download one v2.0.50727.3053 mscorwk??Or i should completely remove the whole file,i'm a hurry, please quick.

Hi SuperZ,
Welcome to the MSDN Forum.
First of all, you need to check the platform of your software, if it is for x64, you need to download x64 version.
In addition, you also need to check which .net framework does it based on.
If it still doesn't work, please contact the publisher of this software to ask the installation environment.
Best regards,
Mike Feng

The last number is not interesting. It just says which update you have. Just worry about which .NET Framework the app needs.
Here's the same report: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/clr/thread/690e5c73-8681-4ea2-8344-f6142b1757a4
