Locked Is the Casablanca preview supposed to work with Visual Studio Express?

I have Visual Studio 2010 Express installed, and when I run Casablanca_setup100.msi I get an error message.

"This version of Casablanca requires Visual Studio 2010 to be installed!"

    Is this expected?

    Philip,

We did not test Casablanca on VS Express, so we don’t support it. That said, I suspect that except for Azure deployment, most things should just work.

For the next release, we’re thinking about having a zip file with the SDK. You would unpack it into a directory of your choice, set the INCLUDE and LIB directories as needed and then you’re good to go. Would that work for you?

I'm glad it wasn't a design decision to exclude express :)

A zip file would work just fine. It'd be nice to be able to get the current release as a zip file, just so I can play with the library without having to wait for the next release. I'll understand if this can't be done though.

    Thanks for the answer.
