Welcome to the BizTalk Server General Discussion Forums.  Our commitment to you is that we will answer questions whenever we can, and we will attempt to point you to the appropriate resources when we can't.

How to make sure you have the best chance of getting an answer to your issue:

    ·         Search before you post.  Previous answers get a higher rating in search engines, so there is a chance that your issue might already have an answer.

    ·         If a post helps you out, mark it as helpful so that it can rise to the top of searches.

    ·         If someone answers your question, mark the response as an answer. If there are multiple helpful responses, mark all of them as answers.

    ·         If someone asks a question that you know the answer to, post the answer! It doesn't have to be definitive; pointing someone in the right direction can be good enough.

We hope that our community will start using these forums to interact with the Product Group and with each other.  Forums provide a great channel to share your knowledge with the community.  Some useful features include:

    ·         You can tag answers.  When you go to browse the site for an answer to your question, you can see what threads have information that might be useful to you.

    ·         Information is archived for seven years—not 30 days.  This means that every week, we’re adding many answers into an ever-growing Q&A database.

    ·         LiveID authentication.  We can assign moderation to the community easily.  User profiles can carry over to other Microsoft communities.

    ·         Discoverability. MSN, Google, Yahoo…they all turn up forum information in searches.

    ·         No client to configure.

    ·         RSS feeds are available for the forums.

I hope you find the Forums as an efficient way to resolve issues you may encounter while developing with BizTalk.
